Hey there! I'm Cem, a 15-year-old dev building Forkd AI (forkd-ai.com) Stop manually writing release notes. Just paste your repository path to instantly turn your commits into polished, clean changelogs. I'd appreciate it if you tried it out and left some feedback!
An AI powered changelog generator for GitHub
Just shipped the official VS Code Extension for Forkd AI
You can now automatically turn your git logs into clean markdown changelogs directly inside your IDE without opening a browser tab or copying and pasting.
You can download it directly from the VS Code Marketplace here: marketplace.visualstudio.com/items?itemName=for…
Let me know if you have any feedback or features you'd like to see added!
We just pushed a major update and several bug fixes to Forkd AI (forkd-ai.com).
What’s new:
GitHub Account Linking: You can now link your GitHub account from your settings. This allows you to sign in using different authentication methods under the same email address.
Visual Repo Dashboard: You can now view your entire list of GitHub repositories directly on our site. Just click a repo to automatically fetch your latest commits and pull requests.
Bug Fixes:
GitHub Login Issue: Fixed a bug where users couldn't log in via GitHub if their email address was already associated with another login method. You can now use multiple sign-in options seamlessly with the same email.
More updates coming soon. Stay tuned!
Shipped some new features this week — batch processing and templates are the big ones.
Batch processing: You can now fetch from multiple GitHub repos at once and generate all your changelogs simultaneously.
Templates: Choose how detailed you want your changelog to be. Options include Standard, Compact, Detailed, Keep a Changelog, and Release Notes.
Give it a try at forkd-ai.com — would love to hear what you think.
Looking for 10 developers to stress-test Forkd AI.
I just deployed Forkd AI (forkd-ai.com). It automatically turns messy pull requests and technical commit history into human-readable release notes instantly.
I need to see how it handles different repository structures and commit styles in public.
Since I need honest, brutal feedback to make this perfect, I want to make it worth your time. I’m giving away a full 3-month upgrade to our Pro tier (extended limits and a lot of other features) to anyone who helps test it this week.
How to apply:
1. Head over to forkd-ai.com and sign up.
2. Paste your commits and run a quick generation.
3. Leave a comment below with your account username along with whatever breaks, logs poorly, or feels clunky.
Alternatively, you can claim it by emailing your username and feedback directly to our support account. (support@forkd-ai.com)
Introducing Forkd AI,
We built Forkd to solve a specific pain point that every shipping developer and product team encounters: writing release notes and changelogs.
It’s usually the last thing anyone wants to do at the end of a sprint, resulting in teams either wasting valuable development hours manually tracking down pull requests, or completely neglecting their changelog altogether.
What Forkd does: Forkd connects directly to your GitHub repository, fetches your latest commit history and pull requests, and uses AI to instantly translate messy git logs into clean, human-readable release notes.
Why it’s useful:
🔌 Zero Manual Copying: It pulls directly from GitHub in a single click.
⚡ Saves Hours of Time: Turns chaotic commit messages into clean summaries in seconds.
🛠️ Keeps Users Engaged: Makes it incredibly easy to consistently show your users and stakeholders exactly what value you are shipping.
If you have a second, we'd love for you to check it out, try it for free, and leave us some brutal, honest feedback! 👇
