GameBuddies.io is a pile of free party games that run in your browser. No app, no download, no account to play. Make a room, send one link, your friends are in. There's video chat built into the page, so distance doesn't matter.
Play three ways: a private room with friends, the public room list with whoever's around, or your Twitch chat if you stream.
15 games so far: Last Brain Standing, ThinkAlike, Bad Actor, Canvas Chaos, Bingo Buddies, Bluffalo, ClueScale, Hot Potato, Letter Rush, Soundbite, Prime Suspect, Schooled!, Tier Battle, Decoded, and BlindSpot. Trivia, drawing, social deduction, word and music games. Pick one and you're playing in about ten seconds.
The streamer side is the part I'm proudest of. Type your channel name and GameBuddies reads your Twitch chat: read-only, anonymous, no bot, no OAuth, nothing to install. Viewers play by typing in chat the way they already do (!vote 2, !3, !answer Paris) without leaving Twitch. Tier Battle runs on just you and chat. Streamer Mode hides your room code from snipers, and it captures cleanly in OBS. Stream it regularly and I'll comp you lifetime Premium.
Confetto is the odd one out: a little playable birthday card. Friends each leave a message, you send one link, and the birthday person walks through reading them.
Real numbers, last 30 days: 600+ registered players (many more play as guests), ~2,800 rooms created (15,000+ since launch), ~2,400 games played, 1,200+ people who actually sat down to play.
All free, all browser, six languages. Built to answer the question every group call hits: okay, what do we play?
