A few months ago, I saw my fiancée struggling to manage her yoga clients and decided to build a simple tool for her.
She runs yoga classes under #Shraddha_Se_Yoga and has around 10 regular clients. Like most independent professionals, her biggest challenge is getting new clients. But surprisingly, her second biggest challenge was managing the clients she already had.
Keeping track of attendance and payments was becoming a headache. Some clients would pay in advance, some would pay partially, and some would adjust payments later. She had tried attendance apps, maintained a notebook, and even relied on an old WhatsApp chat to keep records. None of it really worked well.
Being a developer, I suggested a few CRM tools. They were powerful, but she found them too complicated. Most of them were built for businesses and sales teams, not for someone who simply wanted to know who attended class, who had sessions remaining, and who still had pending payments.
So I decided to build a simple tool just for her.
While building it, I realized this wasn't a problem unique to yoga instructors. Fitness trainers, tutors, therapists, dance teachers, consultants, photographers, and many other freelancers face exactly the same challenge. They need something simple and practical, not a complicated CRM with hundreds of features they'll never use.
That idea eventually became Prabzo — a simple client management platform built specifically for freelancers and independent professionals who are not necessarily tech-savvy but still need an easy way to manage clients, attendance, appointments, and payments.
What started as a small project for one yoga instructor has now grown into a tool that can help thousands of freelancers spend less time on administration and more time doing what they love.
