i thought i was studying.

really i was just asking chatgpt for answers, copying them down, moving on, feeling smart for ten minutes.

then exam week hit and my brain was empty. like the whole semester never happened.

turns out "getting the answer" and "actually learning it" are two completely different things. and AI is insanely good at giving you the first one while you tell yourself it's the second.

that's the trap. studying has never felt easier, and people have never retained less.
