A "working from" status is basically just a bio field. The events page is concrete, you see hackathons and meetups happening near you and click through to sign up. Different value.
But do you see value in an events page with a world map where you view hackathons happening globally, sign up from Strivle, show you're attending, and find others going to the same event?
I see, that does make sense. I would sign up and yes it would be nice to meet other Strivle members from my region live but if that's the only common thing then it might happen on a different events platform anyway.
What I was trying to get at was building that common Strivel pride so there is a greater pull for people to show up.
Fair point but I think the feature works a bit differently than that. It's not about Strivle hosting events but like it's more a discovery layer for existing hackathons and meetups happening globally. The value is finding which Strivle users are going to the same YC demo day or ETHGlobal hackathon you already planned to attend. That works whether Strivle has community pride or not i think.
Appreciate the thoughts though
