Shipped a vinyl listening journal — Letterboxd, but for the records you actually play. Log spins, rate them, add photos, follow friends, keep a wantlist.
Stage: friends + a trickle from my other socials. Now I'm trying to crack organic growth in a community that (rightly) hates being marketed to.
What I'm planning: a Reddit push across r/vinyl, r/vinylreleases, r/turntables, plus shareable "spin cards" people can post to IG/TikTok.
Where I'm stuck: go wide across subs, or go deep in one — actually become a regular there before I ever mention the product? For anyone who's grown a community-led product from zero, does "earn trust in one place" beat spreading thin? What was the actual unlock for you?
