just added a full explorable 3d energy body to heliora after a few somatic astrologers told us the chakra and energy work felt bolted on and underdeveloped compared to the sky and astrocartography stuff.

now you get a living z-anatomy integrated model with glowing chakras, skeletal layer, real-time percentages, physical correspondences, and deep natal ties all mapped to your chart. you can dive into each center and see how your placements are lighting it up.

just shipped the dedicated 3d sky tab and finally killed the great webgl bug phantom that was haunting us for days.

what started as a simple "hey the sky needs its own space" turned into a multi-day nightmare of renderer lifecycles, context allocation wars, race conditions, and me staring at console logs convinced the gpu personally hated me. every fix revealed another layer. it was not the final layer. not only were testers furious but we were too.

but we won. the flagship 3d sky now runs completely alone in its own tab with the full graphics card to itself. no more fighting for resources, no mysterious crashes, no stuttering when you try to spin or zoom. just smooth, buttery, full-screen cosmic exploration. sometimes phantom bugs are the best performance optimization.

just got fully possessed by heliora again and went way too deep into observatory mode.

added more real celestial bodies, swirling vortex effects, the crab nebula, and interactive animated supernovas you can actually fly toward and watch explode across time. the deep space layer is starting to feel properly alive and a little unhinged now.

just pushed a big astrocartography update to heliora and it feels so much richer now.

we added 450 new cities and city cards across 3d and 2d exploration, including a ton of niche ones people actually care about. the 3d globe now has proper citydive terrain views plus atmospheric clouds so spinning the planet and following your lines feels way more alive and grounded in real geography.

just made the oracle way smarter in heliora and it feels like having a real celestial copilot now.

it actually pays attention to whatever page you are on so when you are spinning the astrocartography globe it talks about your power places, planetary lines crossing cities, and what those locations might awaken in you instead of generic chart talk. you can ask it stuff right in context like what marrakech would mean for you or which lines are lighting up and it just gets it, and it does this in the 3d sky and all other modules.

Could not resist adding more shaders and improving galaxy render quality for observatory graphics.

just had to add yet another graphics tier to heliora because i apparently cannot stop making this thing more ridiculous.

now immersive gets you all the way out to the oort cloud and then you hit a whole new observatory gate with deep space stuff beyond it. feels like i am out here building video game expansion packs for astrology software at this point.

just shipped the 3d precision lab and it feels extra meaningful today. an astrologer doing a museum presentation on shifting perspectives of the andromeda constellation responded saying she needed better solar system software for mac that actually worked for serious fixed star and perspective work. we basically built this for people like her.

you can rotate zoom and scrub through centuries in full 3d while the precision lab underneath runs swiss ephemeris sub arcsecond calculations in real time. fixed stars, parans, multiple reference frames, toggleable aspect lines rendered in 3d space, the whole thing. feels like the tool we always wished existed when we were deep in the work.

just pushed a big upgrade to the 3d sky in heliora and now you can actually fly out into deep space properly. the starfield rendering goes way further with better density, parallax, and cosmic dust layers so your chart feels like its sitting inside the real galaxy instead of a cozy little bubble.

just pushed a nice physics and visuals update to the 3d sky

we added accurate axial spin for all the planets. jupiter whipping around fast, venus basically frozen in its weird retrograde, earth doing its proper daily turn, everything based on real sidereal periods. feels so much more alive watching them actually rotate at their own pace.

cleaned up the belts too. main asteroid belt, trojans, centaurs and kuiper now drift at proper keplerian speeds. inner stuff moves noticeably faster than the outer zones. no more backwards physics.

galilean moons around jupiter got tuned with their real orbital periods and laplace resonance. they feel way more natural now.

also added the slow zoom out from earth that reveals the full milky way. its pretty special. you start close, it pulls back, and suddenly youre floating in deep space with everything in context.

on top of that i updated the colored celestial nodes. they now have procedural swirling plasma textures with marbled filament patterns, emissive glow from within, a translucent outer shell with additive blending, and a soft halo aura. they feel way more energetic and alive instead of just flat colored dots.

its the little things like this that make the sky actually feel like the real solar system while still staying dreamy. as above so below, even in the code.

anyone notice the difference when you go into immersive mode? or got a favorite planet or moon you like watching spin?

the astrocartography globe is now live and it feels way better. its a proper three.js render mixed with google maps api so the geography and astrocartography calculations are fully real. you can spin the whole planet around, follow your lines wrapping over cities and continents, and zoom all the way into full screen immersive mode.

honestly its kinda trippy seeing your pluto mc lighting up rome or your uranus line cutting through berlin. makes the whole "your energy on earth" thing feel way more real than some flat map.

still got some performance stuff to tune but being able to just spin and zoom around your personal cosmic geography is sick.

just got some great pushback from a few dusty professional astrologers who tried heliora and called parts of it too "airy fairy" for their taste. fair enough, so we shipped a full settings overhaul where you can now tune the oracle voice, switch rulership systems between modern traditional or hybrid, pick your house division and zodiac preference, and even dial the interpretation tone from mystical all the way to straight clinical traditional.

just shipped something that's been living in my head for months. we launched the continuous memory library for all heliora artifacts so your oracle readings, soul frequencies, astrocartography maps, and charts now talk to each other across time with full context instead of living in silos.

feels like the akashic library finally woke up and started remembering who you actually are. if you've been playing with heliora this makes the whole thing way deeper.

building this kind of memory layer on top of the 3d sky and swiss ephemeris precision has been a wild ride but damn it feels right.

After complaints about performance speed from cold outreach testers, just enabled lite mode so that heavy three.js, NASA textures, oort clouds, and galilean moon rendering, external galaxies, do not throttle experience on other tabs.
