For the past few days, I've been heads-down building DocuGent — a SaaS designed to help creators launch and run faceless documentary channels on autopilot.
The core problem we are solving is the massive time-sink of video production. Running a channel like Johnny Harris or Fern TV requires research, script editing, professional narration, finding B-roll, and graphic design.
DocuGent handles all of this in one run:
It drafts a multi-chapter script.
It generates voiceovers and subtitles.
It stitches stock B-roll and hacker terminal overlays together.
It creates and uploads a high-CTR custom thumbnail.
It publishes the final video directly to YouTube.
We just wired up the Next.js 14 dashboard to a FastAPI backend and Stripe billing to open this up to creators.
