hey! genuine question, how does your product win over claude planning mode combined with a stress-testing skill that asks as many questions as possible to cover all edge cases before an idea becomes code?
Great question. I actually think Claude Planning Mode is one of the best tools available today. MySpec isn't trying to replace it. The main difference is that Claude gives you a powerful model, while MySpec provides a structured workflow on top of that process. Many founders and developers don't know which questions to ask, what edge cases to consider, or how to turn a conversation into reusable requirements, architecture, and implementation plans. We built MySpec to standardise that process and produce consistent spec bundles that both humans and AI coding agents can work from. If you're already highly skilled at prompting and requirement discovery, the gap may be smaller. We're mainly optimising for repeatability, consistency, and reducing the amount of prompt engineering needed to get there.
