Founders, do you have a great idea but aren't sure where to start?
Not because you can't build it, but because there are still too many unanswered questions. Which features should come first? What requirements are missing? Which edge cases haven't been considered? What assumptions could become expensive mistakes later?
Many founders don't struggle because they can't build. They struggle because important decisions aren't clear before development begins.
MySpec brings those answers together before development begins.
With MySpec, founders can transform rough ideas into structured specifications, uncover missing requirements and edge cases, receive architecture and implementation guidance, and get actionable recommendations before investing significant time and resources into development.
Instead of guessing what might be missing, you gain a clearer path forward and a stronger foundation for both your team and AI coding tools.
The screenshot below shows a real example of how MySpec reviews specifications, identifies potential gaps, and provides recommendations before development begins.
Rather than taking our word for it, we'd invite you to try it yourself. MySpec is currently free during Open Beta, and we'd genuinely appreciate any feedback, suggestions, or criticism from fellow founders and builders.

This is pretty neat! I like that essential agents are already included and positioned to do exactly what we need them to do rather than trying on a single agent trying to do everything.
I didnt make an account yet to try it (I might later), but from quick glance at the landing page, it does feel a bit overwhelming for me personally. Maybe I have to check out the live version, but from what was presented to me so far, I know I would get intimidated before actually attempting to try it fully.
I say, hide unnecessary info from the user or at least declutter them into intentional sections. The interface, though very pretty, might also be a bit too distracting for something that needs my whole focus in practice. I'm a self-proclaimed neurodivergent, so all those animations and color flashes would pull me out of my hyperfocus zone.
BTW, I was hoping it was open source. I'm a sucker for open source projects. Lol.
Hope this helps! 💜🙏🏻
Thank you for the thoughtful feedback!
That's completely fair. To be honest, one of the challenges with a product like MySpec is that there's a lot to explain before someone signs up, so the landing page naturally ends up carrying quite a bit of information.
we'd love for you to try the actual product if you get a chance. The experience inside is intentionally more guided and structured than what might come across from a glance at the homepage. A few people have told us they found it much simpler once they started using it than they initially expected.
Your point about focus and reducing distractions is valuable though, and we'll definitely keep it in mind as we continue refining both the website and product experience.
And yes, we've heard the open-source request a few times already 😄
Thanks again for taking the time to share your thoughts. If you decide to give MySpec a try, we'd also love to hear your feedback after you've had some hands-on experience with it. Hopefully, MySpec can support your workflow and make your day-to-day work a little smoother and more enjoyable.❤️
