I built an app called Puplytics because my dog had ongoing digestive problems… and honestly, I was tired of trying to remember everything.

Food changes. Symptoms. Weird poop days. Energy levels. Vet conversations that started with: “Wait… when did this start again?”

My dog is a German Shepherd who had a rough past before I got him. At one point he even needed stomach surgery after eating metal scraps from a garage. After that, I became borderline obsessive about tracking his health.

But there wasn’t really a simple tool built for everyday dog owners trying to monitor digestion, stool quality, symptoms, diet changes, mood, sleep, and overall wellness in one place.

So… I taught myself app development and built one.

Puplytics is a dog wellness tracking app focused on helping owners spot patterns earlier and stay organized.

Features include:

• AI stool scan analysis
• Health + symptom tracking
• Food & diet logging
• Mood / sleep tracking
• Wellness trends over time
• Vet-ready wellness reports

The goal isn’t to replace veterinarians.

The value is helping dog owners stop relying on memory and start seeing patterns that might otherwise be missed.

Because sometimes your dog can't tell you what’s wrong… but their habits, symptoms, and yes — even their poop — can tell a story.

Building Puplytics has been a crash course in coding, design, App Store submissions, debugging, SEO, marketing, and figuring things out as I go.

First app. Self-taught. Lots of mistakes. Lots of learning.

But seeing something I built actually help dog owners makes the whole process worth it.
