How to automate the Monday brief with n8n, so an AI chief of staff reads your calendar, your inbox and your task list and emails you the brief before you wake up. Eight boxes, about ninety five minutes, roughly two cents a run.

This is part two. Part one built the chief of staff you feed by hand. This one wires it into a real inbox and puts it on a timer.

WHAT IT DOES
Every Monday at 7am it reads your week, finds every conversation where you sent the last message and nobody answered, reads the list you keep on your phone, hands all of it to a chief of staff that is told never to invent a number, and emails you five sections: the one thing, five bullets, what is slipping, what to say no to, and what it does not know.

WHAT IT COSTS
n8n is free if you self-host. Google is free. The thinking is about two cents a run, so roughly nine cents a month. No subscription.

ONE HONEST NOTE
It only knows what got pulled: calendar, mail, list. A decision made on a phone call does not exist to it. It ranks your week against the scoreboard you wrote in the charter, so a wrong scoreboard gets you a confidently wrong Monday. Everything it marked [uncertain] on camera stayed uncertain.
