Engineering leader by day, indie dev by night. Process obsessive by necessity — 20+ years in high-stakes regulated software will do that.

A small software company that builds deliberate, lasting things — tools, games, and whatever comes next.
Strivle is live on the App Store.
The native iOS app is out now and you can download it in most of the world today. Europe is in the final approval step and should go live within a day. We will post the moment it does.
Same Strivle you already use on the web, now native and in your pocket. Your feed, live rooms, the leaderboard, and messages.
Download it, set up your profile, and start shipping in public from anywhere.
If you have a minute after, leave a rating. This early, reviews are the single biggest thing that helps more builders find Strivle. Thank you for getting us here.

Made Jr. and mediocre devs obsolete. The old-school hackers and "10x" (I hate myself for using that adjective) devs will level up. Also, never doubt the back-pressure from regulation, policy, and procedure.

Last night I burned $600 on a dumb one-line bug.
I was tweaking and updating my system late at night. Tired, not paying the attention I should have, and that's exactly where it went wrong: I took down my own service and impacted my clients.
The worst part wasn't the money. It was knowing the mistake was completely avoidable, and that there were people on the other side counting on my system being up.
Two lessons the hard way: never push to production late and tired, and always have a fast way to roll back when something breaks.
I want to hear from you: who's taken down their own service with a silly mistake? How did you handle it in the moment, and what did you change so it wouldn't happen again?

Honestly one of the reasons I kept creating the account! 😆
Hey guys!
I am the developer behind Carto Art, and have been working on it for around a year at this point. This began as a frontend-only prototype inspired by a street vendor selling simple map prints. The realization that a more powerful, customizable tool could bridge the gap between technical GIS data and aesthetic interior decor led to its creation.
Main features:
- Create a map from anywhere in the world
- Select from over 50 different styles
- Volumetric 3D terrain and buildings, making locations such as Salt Lake City, UT and New York City, NY pop out
- Gif exports, via animated camera paths
- Gallery for users to publish their favorite maps
- (Still WIP) STL export of the terrain data for a given location
