I Built an AI Chief of Staff. It Runs My Week for $20
How to set up an AI chief of staff in about thirty minutes, for $20 a month, with no code. One project, one charter page, four job prompts. This is the whole build.
I gave it my real calendar, my real inbox and my real task list, and I read every answer out loud, including the ones it got wrong.
WHAT IT DOES
It reads your week and tells you the one thing that matters, what is quietly slipping, and what to cancel. It preps every call. It finds the threads that went silent and writes the nudge. On Friday it tells you honestly what you did not do.
WHAT IT COST
$20 a month. Nothing else. No API key, no automation tool, no developer.

How to fix broken AI automations ?
Companies are about to drown in polished work that nobody's brain actually owns. Looks finished. Falls apart under one question. Here's why I'm certain:
Doctors dropped twenty percent after three months with AI.
Students crashed seventeen the moment it was removed.
Now scale that to every team shipping AI output they never interrogated. Which quietly creates the job of the next five years: the person who can spot hollow work, fix it, and build review checkpoints into the automation itself.
I build automations for businesses — and that human-checkpoint layer is becoming the thing clients actually pay for. So learn the system and you're not just protecting your brain. You're holding a service.
It's free, link in bio.
The most valuable AI skill in 2026 isn't prompting. It's knowing when the output is hollow.

Don't Let AI Replace You
The Unplug Test
One question tells you whether AI is sharpening you or slowly replacing you. I call it the Unplug Test: if the tool vanished mid-task — right now — could you still finish the job? Picture your most important work task. Client call, no laptop. Interview, no tab open. Outage. If the answer is no, and that skill pays your bills — you don't need less AI. You need to move that one task up a level: your draft first, AI upgrades second. That single change is the difference between the students who crashed seventeen percent and the ones who gained. The full four-level dial is a free one-pager in my bio. Run the test on one task today — and tell me which one failed. I'll go first in the comments.
The Unplug Test: one question, ten seconds, uncomfortable answer. Dial's free in bio.

The secret to using AI without losing your mind
MIT put EEG headsets on fifty-four people and scanned their brains while they wrote essays.
Three groups: no tools, search engine, ChatGPT. The ChatGPT group showed the weakest brain connectivity of all three. But here's the part that actually got me. Minutes after finishing, most of them couldn't quote one line from their own essay. They shipped words their brain never owned. That's what I call no-rep work: the output exists, the learning doesn't. There's a way to use AI that avoids this completely — it's pinned on my channel.
Your essay, their words. The MIT ChatGPT study nobody finished reading. System pinned on the channel.

How to make your AI remember every conversation
Zero re-explaining context — the assistant already read the thread
Stop Briefing Your AI. My AI Already Read The Thread. The Copy-Paste-To-ChatGPT Loop, Killed.
Copy the thread. Open the tab. Paste. Explain who's who. Explain the tone. Copy the answer back. Fix the formatting. Every. Single. Reply. KeyText's assistant lives inside the text field and remembers the conversation — so refining a draft takes one line: "shorter, and mention I'm traveling next week." No tab. No paste. No re-briefing your own inbox.

Why you're learning AI wrong?
I made AI refuse to answer me. On purpose. Best prompt I've written all year. Watch. I ask it something I'm trying to learn — and instead of answering, it interrogates me. Hints only. No answer until I commit to mine. Why would anyone want this? A randomized trial, a thousand students: regular ChatGPT made final exams seventeen percent worse. This exact configuration — tutor mode — boosted practice one hundred twenty-seven percent, with zero crash after. Same AI. One setting. The prompt is number one of ten in a free pack — link in bio, takes one email.
Answer mode: −17%. Coach mode: +127%. Same model. Prompt #1 of 10, free in bio.

Why you need to pedal with AI ?
An e-bike doesn't delete your legs. Riding throttle-only does. Same machine, two riders. Rider one runs full throttle. Never pedals. A year later his legs are gone — the bike did every rep. Rider two runs pedal-assist. She pedals every ride; the motor just multiplies her. A year later she's riding three times the distance and her legs are stronger. Same bike. Opposite outcomes. The variable was never the motor. It's where you set the assist dial. AI is the strongest motor ever attached to thinking — and most people cranked it to full throttle on everything and stopped pedaling. That's the brain rot. Tomorrow I'm posting the four studies that prove it, and the dial I use instead. So, honestly — where's yours set?

AI is a motor for thinking. Throttle mode vs pedal-assist decides everything. Full system Friday.
ChatGPT agrees with almost everything you say.
That is not politeness, it is the product working as designed.
This is the one page of custom instructions I use to
turn that off, block by block, plus where to paste it in ChatGPT, Claude and Gemini.
The page itself, free (my filled version + a blank template + the 50 prompts):

Don't tell AI to "write like me." Show it.
5 of your OWN sent emails → ask for the rules, not a summary → paste those
rules into every prompt after that.
This is the step everyone skips.

Your AI prompt is too long. This fixes it.
Your AI prompt ends up 200 words long. You won't retype it at 6pm — so you'll
quit using it inside a week.
Put it behind a trigger. Two keystrokes.
"I hope this email finds you well" is the tell. Your AI writes it because
you never told it how you write.

I Hired a CFO, a Lawyer, and a Marketer. ALL AI!
One Honest AI Wasn't Enough. So I Built a Board.
Three weeks ago I made my AI brutally honest and it killed my best idea. One honest advisor is still just one opinion, so I built a board: a CFO, a risk officer, and a marketer, all AI, all told to argue before I spend a thing.
Get the whole board free (no email gate on the prompts): buildleaner.com/advisor-board
In this video I hand that board a decision I genuinely had not resolved when I hit record: should I launch an Arabic version of this channel for the GCC? You are watching the real session. Each seat reviews the brief on its own, then a chair round forces a vote and records the dissent.
Setup takes about 20 minutes. It costs nothing on top of the AI subscription you already pay for.
The thing that makes it work is one line in the charter: "Do not balance yourself. The other seats exist for that." A single AI tries to be fair. A seat is not allowed to be fair, and the disagreement is the whole product.
WHAT'S IN THE FREE PACK
The board charter
All three seat prompts (CFO, risk officer, marketer)
The decision brief template
The session protocol, so you can run it end to end
The business context doc from the last video
WHAT YOU NEED
ChatGPT, Claude, or Gemini. Any one of them works, and the prompt blocks are identical in all three.
The business context doc, which is in the free pack above.

Why you're getting dumber using AI
Doctors got twenty percent worse at finding cancer. And AI did that. 1,443 patients. Experienced doctors. Three months with an AI assistant — and their solo detection rate fell from 28.4 to 22.4 percent. Published in The Lancet. They didn't get lazy. Their attention quietly outsourced itself. And a version of this is happening to you every time you hand AI one hundred percent of the thinking. Four studies found the pattern. The same research found the fix. Full breakdown on the channel.
The Lancet documented AI de-skilling in doctors. 3 months is all it took. Fix is on the channel.
